You’ve seen landscaping. This isn’t that.
HOWRKS is an award-winning landscape design and implementation studio creating ecologically grounded outdoor environments. Founded by Cameron Howard in Hockessin, Delaware, the studio takes a design-forward approach that brings together architecture, ecology, planting, materials, and construction to create distinctive outdoor spaces. Recognized with an APLD Gold Award and named a 2025 Blue Hen 17&43 Most Promising Venture, HOWRKS approaches each project with an emphasis on thoughtful design, environmental responsibility, and lasting functionality.
Serving clients throughout Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and beyond, HOWRKS specializes in residential, commercial, and institutional environments. From initial concepts and 3D visualization to planting design, lighting, and implementation, every element is considered in relation to the surrounding environment. The result is a cohesive outdoor space that feels natural, intentional, and connected to the way people live, work, and gather.
